The Band

Monochrome is a band based in New York City, performing a diverse blend of music that spans multiple genres, including rock, folk, country, metal, and jazz. Its members are all seasoned and well-travelled musicians and artists.

Frau

Frau holds a degree in Music Theory and Composition and has been involved in a myriad of projects encompassing audio engineering, instrumental performance, classical composition, and beyond. His performing career has included the folk-rock band Loaf of Bread, the death metal ensemble Czesc, reggae/rock sensation The People's Band Of China, the experimental Mortmain Experiment, the eclectic Gimmick 3, and A Small Victory — the only active Faith No More tribute band in the United States. He has performed venues throughout New York City and Long Island, including Trash Bar, Lit Lounge, Ollie's Point, and others.

Jamie

Jamie has played drums around New York and Los Angeles since the early 00s. He has performed at such venues as The Smell in LA, Cake Shop in New York, and many, many basements and houses across the Midwest. He holds a music degree from USC and collects synthesizers in his free time.

Lides

Lides is, in theory, a grown man. He plays several instruments with varying success, though his enthusiasm and brutal death-bellow are unimpeachable. Lides’ musical resume includes fronting punk band ASU in Athens, Greece, masterminding the absurdist ‘Bruno and the pink demons’, as well as hitting rock bottom in funk-fiasco ‘Snowplow’, death metal band ‘Pus Blaster’, and the quasi-theoretical ‘Shit Hippy’. He also paints pictures, defiles hope, and sours good cheer.
